US President Donald Trump has revoked security clearances for former President Joe Biden and several prominent members of his administration, stating that it is “no longer in the national interest” for them to retain access to classified information.

Individuals affected by this decision include former Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, as indicated in a memorandum from the White House. Additionally, Hillary Clinton’s clearance has also been rescinded.

Trump has instructed “all executive department and agency heads to revoke unescorted access to secure United States Government facilities for these individuals.”

The revoked access encompasses the ability to receive classified briefings, such as the President’s Daily Brief, as well as access to classified information held by “any member of the Intelligence Community due to the previous congressional tenure of the named individuals,” according to the memorandum.

Other individuals mentioned in the memo include:

– Former Representatives Elizabeth Cheney and Adam Kinzinger

– New York Attorney General Letitia James

– New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg

– Alexander Vindman, a former national security official involved in Trump’s first impeachment

– Former US Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco

– Fiona Hill, who served as senior director for European and Russian affairs on the National Security Council during Trump’s first term

– Andrew Weissmann, a leading prosecutor who assisted former special counsel Robert Mueller in the investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russian officials

– Mark Zaid, a national security attorney representing numerous cases involving intelligence officers, federal employees, and whistleblowers

– Norman Eisen, a former Obama administration official who represented a group of workers investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol

– “Any other member” of Biden’s family
